Below you will find all information about the ADHD diagnostic process and associated costs.
How the diagnostic process works
Initial appointment(approx. 2 hours – online or 1010 Vienna)
In a detailed conversation, we discuss your current situation as well as important aspects of your previous development. A structured diagnostic interview follows to capture your symptomatology in a differentiated way.
It is particularly important to me that you feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire process. I therefore conduct these conversations in a calm, appreciative, and transparent atmosphere.
Optional neuropsychological testing(approx. 1 hour – in person only)
Depending on the question at hand, selected neuropsychological test procedures can additionally be used to examine cognitive areas such as attention or memory more closely. If this is indicated, an additional appointment is arranged.
Questionnaires for home
You receive standardised questionnaires for further assessment of your symptomatology, which you can complete at home at your own pace and then submit digitally.
Evaluation & report
All information gathered is carefully evaluated and combined into a differentiated diagnostic assessment. On this basis, I prepare a detailed, individual, and clearly formulated report.
Report discussion(approx. 1 hour)
In a concluding appointment, the results are discussed in detail. You receive your report as well as individual recommendations for further steps.
Appointments take place at centrally located practice rooms in the 1st district of Vienna (1010) or online via Zoom.
Costs
ADHD Diagnostics
€790
- Initial appointment (2 hours, incl. detailed conversation and diagnostic interview)
- Use of neuropsychological test procedures
- Standardised questionnaires to complete at home
- Careful evaluation and detailed written report
- Report discussion with individual recommendations
Clinical-psychological diagnostics are exempt from VAT pursuant to § 6 (1) Z 19 UStG.
Reimbursement
Clinical-psychological diagnostics are a private service.
Partial reimbursement by your health insurance is possible but not guaranteed. The amount of reimbursement depends on the regulations of the respective insurance provider.
A medical referral with a corresponding suspected diagnosis is required for submission.
After completion of the diagnostic assessment you will receive an invoice and a clinical-psychological report with all the information required for submission to your health insurance. I am happy to provide the corresponding form.
