Processing of personal data

When visiting this website, no personal data is actively collected as a matter of principle. Personal data is only processed if you voluntarily provide it when contacting me (e.g. by email or contact form). This concerns in particular your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message. The following data is processed via the contact form in particular: name, email address, phone number (optional), selected subject, message content, as well as automatically the timestamp of submission, the IP address of the sending device, and a record of the consent given.

Purpose and legal basis

Your data is processed exclusively for the purpose of handling your enquiry and contacting you. The legal bases are your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you voluntarily disclose health data or other special categories of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR) in your message, the processing of that data additionally relies on your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR) and on the provision of health-care services by a professional bound to confidentiality (Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR in conjunction with § 14 PG 2013). Provision of the data is voluntary; without it, however, your enquiry cannot be processed.

Hosting and technical processing

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). Technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, time of access) is processed to ensure the operation of the website. For the processing of contact enquiries the service Resend, Inc. (USA) is used. Both processors are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, data processing agreements containing Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR are in place as appropriate safeguards for the data transfer to the USA (Art. 44 et seq. GDPR).

Data retention period

Data submitted via the contact form is stored until your enquiry has been processed and for up to 12 months thereafter, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code) require longer storage. The data is then deleted.

Withdrawing your consent

You may withdraw a consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). An informal message to info@praxis-linke.at is sufficient. The lawfulness of processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected.

Automated decision-making

Automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, does not take place.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). Requests can be sent informally to info@praxis-linke.at.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).

Cookies

This website uses exclusively technically necessary cookies or local-storage entries that are required to operate the site: the language preference (NEXT_LOCALE) and a marker that the cookie information banner has already been dismissed (cookie-consent). No tracking or analytics cookies are used.
